Q) My new PC constantly crashes. Sometimes it lasts 20 seconds or so. Often before the bios screen has even finished - what can be causing this to happen?
A) It is very rare for a PC to crash this quickly and yet start at all. If the machine has recently been upgraded with a new mainboard \ processor or CPU i would look at overheating - most probably the CPU - Check the fan is the correct grade and seated the right way round and if possible add a blob of Arctic Silver on the processor.
